TBS+Tween® 20 Wash Solution (20x) pH 7.4

TBS+Tween® 20 Wash Solution (20x) pH 7.4 is an optimal formulation of pH stabilizers, salts and detergents developed to effectively remove reagents off slides between steps of immunohistochemical staining protocols without disrupting the antibody binding reaction. This wash buffer helps maintain the morphological characteristics of the antibodies and their respective epitopes, in order to facilitate the specific binding necessary in the reaction. Tween® 20 is added to promote effective washing and to prevent non-specific background staining. This solution does not contain hazardous preservatives such as Azide or Mercury that may interfere with antibody-antigen binding interactions.
