Price range: $351.00 through $656.00

SKU: N/A Category:

CD125 is a cell surface protein that binds interleukin-5 (IL-5), a key signaling protein for immune responses. Expressed mainly on eosinophils, basophils, mast cells, and certain B cells. It helps control how these immune cells grow, activate, and survive, making it an important target for allergic and inflammatory diseases. In unstimulated conditions, interacts constitutively with JAK2. Heterodimeric receptor activation leads to JAK2 stimulation and subsequent activation of the JAK-STAT pathway. Blocking the IL-5 receptor with targeted neutralizing antibodies helps treat severe eosinophilic asthma and other high-eosinophil conditions by prompting immune-mediated cell destruction.
